You’re a very good songwriter, maybe you’re brilliant. But there’s just one thing: you don’t have the greatest singing voice. Maybe pretty good – just not good enough to really sell the GREAT song you’ve just written.
I am a male demo vocalist with many styles under my belt: Rock, Country, Alternative, Metal, R&B, Standards, surf music…you name it. I will put that finishing touch on your next song, including just the right vocal arrangement. I have the ability to record at home and send you the files. Payments can be made by money order or through Paypal if it’s needed. Go to http://www.myspace.com/jonstathammusic for samples of my work. Feel free to call as well: (310) 882-1967 Jon Thank you. We are a KC band called Angel Dissection and we are searching for a new drummer. If your interested, take a listen to a couple of our recent recordings @ www.myspace.com/theofficialangeldissection and let us know. Despite the chaotic music, we are nice laid back gentlemen, and would welcome drummers from all ages and backgrounds. Just listen to the tunes, and if you can play what you hear, or do better, then we would love to hear from you.

20 years experience in teaching. I now teach at Funky Munky Music at 12710 Shawnee Mission Pkwy. I've taught in the past at Big Dudes, Raymore Music and most recently The Music Stand/Gallery for the past 18 years. I specialize in a good understanding of the instrument and music. I teach in a fun environment. I like to have fun in my lessons, which makes it a more enjoyable experience. I concentrate much on the technique needed to play the instrument well and as effortlessly as possible. Good technique is one of the most important aspects of playing, and isn't usually covered well by books, videos or by many instructors. Without it, it is impossible to play any advanced material. I teach an easy to understand approach to scales, modal/chordal theory, rhythm, lead, sweep arpeggios, lightning fast runs, fingerpicking, tapping, Earl Scruggs style and technique on banjo, slap and pop, and tapping on bass. Genres are: blues, rock, heavy metal, country, classical, bluegrass, contemporary christian, funk, pop and jazz. Hours are: 1-9pm M-Th, 2-7pm Fr, and 9am-5pm Sat. Please call me at (913)722-2621. Please leave a message if no answer, or call the store and ask for my schedule at (913) 268-5555 or just respond via email. Thanks! Larry Crabtree

As far as my influences, my favorite BM bands typically sound like Wolves in the Throne Room, Weakling, Immortal, Fog, or Watain. I know its not kvlt, but playing Darkthrone/Bathory influenced BM lacks emotion and is technically much too boring for me. 34 year old bassist seeks band. been playing for about 18 years, in bands for 8 or 9. good gear, reliable transportation, no baggage. available one night per week for practice, available for gigging as required. my only "blackout" nights are wednesday and sunday.
bands currently getting big play on my ipod include shiner, the life and times, season to risk, minor threat, rancid, rise against, 7 seconds, the ramones, etc. definitely want to do something indie and/or punk-ish. no country, no metal (sorry, just not what i'm into) willing to drive a ways for the right band - probably up to an hour in any direction from midtown. so yeah, hit me up and let's talk. thanks. • Location: Midtown/Westport

I've been listening to alot of Arch Enemy and The Agonist and just find that a powerfull female vocalist is just freekin badass! Recently had my last band come apart and i'm already going stir crazy to start something new. I play rythm and have influences from as far back as metallica(pre-black album) up to current stuff i listed above plus others like The absence, Raunchy, winds of plague, and Threat signal. I've got about 5 songs mostly completed, but i'm open to all input on the writing process.
Only downside...i dont have a place for a band to practice. But if we can find a solution then all is good. Drop me a line if ur interested. • Location: wyandotte

I am a 30 year old vocalist. I have been doing hardcore vocals for the better part of 15 years, but only recently as a frontman. I am in the midst of vocal lessons to aid in my singing abilities. My influences range from Lamb of God, Meshuggah, In Flames, Oh, Sleeper and more along that vein.
I write all my own lyrics but open to almost anything. I am looking for a talented group to work with to push my boundaries and challenge me day-in and day-out. I am a screamer FIRST, singer 2nd...and I am no Whitney Houston. You can check out some video samples, and audio at my MS page. www.myspace.com/cerebusmusic. 3 of the audio tracks are NOT me singing, only screaming. Hit me up if you are interested. Thanks! • Location: North Kansas City

34 years old, about 9 years experience in bands. I've played tons of shows around the region, and am totally comfortable on stage.
Good gear, reliable transport, no baggage. No chemical dependency issues. Available one night per week for practice, and for gigs as necessary. Wife, kids, day job, mortgages, etc. Not interested in "making it" with music, or perhaps I've just redefined "making it". I want to make music I like with people I like, and share it around the area. I've got a day job so I can afford my hobbies. Looking for something indie/punk/hardcore-ish. 7 Seconds, Minor Threat, Face to Face, Shiner, Season To Risk, etc. with perhaps just a dash of Coalesce thrown in for fun. Perhaps a little Get Up Kids and Casket Lottery as well??? Open to pretty much anything but metal and country at this point. Nothing wrong with it, I just don't want to play it. So yeah. Hit me up and we can discuss. Thanks Matt • Location: Midtown/Westport
