On the last Saturday of April each year, in hundreds of cities, in over 70 nations, mass tai chi and qigong teach-ins and exhibitions are held as part of a global wave of health & healing events.

The events are media events to educate the public about tai chi and qiong, which Harvard Health Publications called "medication in motion" for all the myriad health issues mounting medical reseach is proving they can prevent or treat.

The event also brings people together across racial, ethnic, religious, and geopolitical borders to focus en mass on personal and global health and healing. The event's motto is "One World ... One Breath."

All are invited and all events are free and open to the public. Learn more about how to get involved in a local event, or organize one of your own at: www.WorldTaiChiDay.org

WTCQD events have been officially proclaimed by officials worldwide, including by governors of 22 of the US states, the senates of Puerto Rico, California, and New York, and have been covered by FOX News, CNN, The New York Times, Agence France Presse TV, The South China Morning Post, China's Xinhua News Agency, and media worldwide.
