Kansas City base Civil War reenacting group is looking for new members to join the ranks during the off season and before the start of the 2010 reenacting year. We are the 3rd. MO Confederate Infantry, Missouri's oldest and most distinguished Civil War reenacting unit. We have just completed the 2009 reenacting year and over the winter off season are looking for new recruits to join our ranks for the start of next year. We are a non for profit, non political organization of living historians dedicated to the preservation of American Civil War history and the history of the state of Missouri. We can outfit you will all needed gear from uniform, gun, and tent so that you came come out to a few events next year and decide if the hobby is something you would enjoy. This is the best hobby in the world and if you enjoy the outdoors, camp fires, firearms, and history then we are eager to have you fall in and join the ranks. All first year members are given a reenacting mentor, one of our veterans that can help you get ready for the start of the reenacting year, get all your gear set up and ready for you at event, be available for questions of any kind and even provide a ride to your first event so that you are not walking onto the field blind and without a clue where to go. SALARY & BENEFITS:
This is a commission and incentive base pay job. Earn $1000 per month great residual income for stay at home moms and students.

I currently have one opening for ages 4 weeks and up in my home. We have a fun, consistent routine each and every day. We have music time, story time, supervised outdoor play, and daily circle time (a fun, interactive time with an educational emphasis). Tom Lacy, husband, father of five and lifetime resident of Shawnee Mission, KS - with Wyandotte Indian as well as Croatian roots in Strawberry Hill - has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  In late September he began a five-week program of radiation and chemotherapy.  Any positive thoughts and prayers for Tom, his wife of 28 years, Cathy, and their five children would be greatly appreciated. 

Because of the great expense of Tom's medical care, and the time and care needed to assist Tom through this process, we are joining together to raise money for Tom and to cultivate healing energy for his recovery. We will welcome donations at the event in benefit of the Lacy Family.
