Harley:Davidson is seeking an Indirect Procurement Lead to oversee the end:to:end execution of the Indirect Procurement process for activities at the Kansas City facility.

Here is what you will do:
:Develop strategic plans for the implementation of major indirect procurement activities essential to achieving work unit plan goals while focusing on quality, cost, timing, and compliance.
:Lead collaborative execution of integrated MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operating) with suppliers and non:integrated MRO suppliers.
:Oversee day:to:day MRO/Indirect purchasing activities, facilities' services, and leasing across the Harley:Davidson organization.
:Determine project urgency while communicating the escalation to the stakeholders.
Education Required
A bachelors degree in supply chain, finance, procurement, business administration, or equivalent is preferred.
Experience Required
The successful candidate will have a minimum of eight (8) years of demonstrated performance in technical competencies of procurement, finance, human resources and/or contract management.
In addition, the incumbent will demonstrate the following:
:Experience in contract management including negotiations, redline reviews and guidance, and key performance integrator guidance.
:Exposure to a global supply base including business reviews, fiscal viability, and risk review for at risk countries.
:Experience in procurement and the understanding of legal implications; terms and conditions required to protect the company (ownership, intellectual property, data security and liability/indemnification).
:Experience in manufacturing and working knowledge of manufacturing and maintenance processes.
:Previous experience in SAP is preferred.
