Job Description

Position Summary:

Since its founding by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1956, People to People International (PTPI) has supported a number of programs that promote the global awareness and competence of K-12 and university students. The manager of Chapters & Global Education programs plays a critical role in the management of these programs and the development of new initiatives to support teachers and students around the world. In leading Chapter & Global Education, the incumbent will work directly with Chapter Officers along with educational leaders
around the world. This position will be located at PTPI World Headquarters. PTPI is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, USA.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Represent PTPI in meetings and conferences involving chapter membership
  • Creation and implementation of chapter membership programs and initiatives
  • Provide guidance, motivation and support to PTPI’s Community Chapter Network
  • Administer the Chapter Grant Program
  • Administer Joyce Hall Scholarship
  • Administer the School and Classroom Program
  • Administer the Global Youth Mural Contest
  • Co-Administer the Global Youth Forum
  • Produce quarterly Board of Director Reports
Community& Student Chapter Support:
  • Develop Community Chapters
  • Build relationships with existing Chapters
  • Manage Chapter membership updates including annual payments and renewals
  • Maintain frequent contact and support to existing chapters 
  • Develop retention strategies for existing chapter network
  • Develop and update community chapters marketing materials
  • Update chapter manuals on an as-needed basis
  • File necessary IRS tax reporting documents on behalf of chapters in the Americas Region
  • Collect Chapter project data for use in demonstrating organizational impact
  • Collect and share Chapter stories for publications and social media
  • Develop and Produce monthly Chapter Officer Reports
  • Develop and Produce bi-monthly regional newsletters for each region
  • Maintain accurate records in order to evaluate program efficacy
  • Represent our Global Membership Network in program design and delivery

  • Bachelor Degree preferred
  • Data Entry: Proficant in Microsoft Products
  • Written and Communication Skills
  • International experience preferred
  • Well organized
