The Creative Product Development Director : Cultural Identity leads our creative efforts to build unique and dynamic brands while delivering relevant social expression product to the rapidly evolving multicultural marketplace. This role is accountable for leading a team focused on creative product development and creative brand strategy, while envisioning and executing all aspects of the consumer experience for Mahogany, VIDA, Tree of Life, and other product programs for emerging culturally relevant consumer segments.
:Develops long:term creative strategies as part of an evolving annual greetings category plan.
:Leads the cultural identity portfolio segment strategy process and approves brand:specific strategies and product plans.
:Oversees the end:to:end creative product development process from concept to shelf.
:Oversees the creative studio execution process and approves final product designs.
:Develops strong and positive relationships, effective linkages and holistic integration across businesses and with key partners.
:Leads, manages and develops direct and indirect reports to ensure growth of needed skills and capabilities.
:Creates a culture of accountability and learning while demonstrating credible managerial talents including effective, timely decision:making and collaboration throughout the organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
:Bachelors degree or Masters degree in design, graphic design, art, journalism, communications, language arts, cultural arts, or marketing
:At least 10 years of product development experience
:Prior people management experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
:Deep understanding of the multicultural market and consumer needs
:Proven ability to develop and act upon consumer and shopper insights
