Senior Java (Groovy Grails) - Solomon Consulting Group (Kansas City, MO)

Solomon is currently seeking a Groovy / Grails developer for a client in Kansas City. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic fast paced environment working on mobile, UI/UX and web apps. At least 5 years of software development experience. -Advanced knowledge of multiple languages including, but not limited to, Java and Groovy. -Demonstrated proficiency with HTML / CSS / JavaScript / Jquery. Experience with responsive design techniques a plus. -Demonstrated proficiency with Web Application Frameworks (e.g. Grails, Spring, etc). -Demonstrated proficiency with Design Patterns, Object Oriented Design, MVC patterns. -Demonstrated proficiency in relational database systems. Experience with SQL and troubleshooting/performance tuning. -Demonstrated proficiency with Agile software development principles. -Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn new technologies (e.g. Web Services, Grails, etc…). -Experience with modern ORM technology (e.g. Hibernate, JPA, etc). -Associate’s degree specializing in information systems, technology, or equivalent education and work experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
