This Job Opportunity is Located in Excelsior Springs, MO.

Administer all human resource policies, programs and practices, including planning, organizing, developing, implementing, coordinating and directing. Counsels employees regarding benefits and obligations and enrolls eligible employees in benefit programs. Maintain personnel records for each employee. Coordinate staff training and development.

1. Plans and executes policies relating to all phases of the Center's human resources management and development activities in conjunction with the Corporate Human Resources Representative.
2. Interviews and selects potential candidates for employment and refers qualified applicants to the department where the job vacancy exists.
3. Maintains employee records regarding insurance coverage, retirement plan, and personnel transactions, e.g., hiring, training, evaluations, promotions, transfers, discipline and terminations.
4. Plans and coordinates general and specialized training for all Center personnel.
5. Plans and conducts training for Center management and non?management staff.
6. Serves as the Center's Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action (EEO/AA) Officer.
7. Develops and monitors the Center's Affirmative Action Plan and its updates.
8. Works with Center Equal Opportunity (EO) Officer to ensure Center wide equal opportunity for both staff and students.
9. Administers Company and Center employee benefits.
10. Assists Directors, Managers, Supervisors and employees in resolution of grievances.
11. Guides and promotes safe work performance by developing safety systems, policies and procedures, communications and recognitions for subordinates in areas supervised.
12. Ensures that employability skills, attitudes and knowledge is practiced and integrated into all phases of career development and student life on Center.
13. Ensures that employability skills, attitudes and knowledge is practiced and integrated into all phases of career development and student life on Center to ensure life career success.
14. Ensures the integration of the Career Success Standards into the center’s CDSS Plan.
15. Describe goals, performance expectations and standards, and articulate how their individual performance supports the admission, career preparation, career development and career transition of students.
16. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by designated and/or authorized staff.

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Employee Relations, Human Resources, Personnel Management, Personnel Services, Political Science, Public Administration, or Organizational Behavior, and three years in responsible human resources work involving functional or line supervision required.

Licenses or Certificates: A valid Regular Driver License is required.
