The HCA MidAmerica Division is a multi-market healthcare network that spans Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Missouri. The network includes 15 hospitals, outpatient centers, physician clinics, and eight ambulatory surgery centers serving an array of urban, suburban and rural communities.

Responsible for the general direction of Business Development for MidAmerica Division as it pertains to business/service line development, marketing, physician relations, and community outreach for a defined geographic area. Accountable for leading the targeted growth initiatives for the assigned area including, but not limited to managed care programs, service line development, physician group development and new business development.
Leads the targeted, strategic growth of MidAmerica Division, through enhancing partnerships with the medical community.
Develops and implements growth strategies and initiatives including managed care programs; collaborative arrangements with other healthcare systems, physician groups and payers; joint ventures and new businesses; and other efforts to improve healthcare programs in communities where the health system operates.
Serves as a catalyst for advancing new business ventures, partner affiliations and network/market expansion initiatives focused on growth and development.
Develops mutually beneficial strategies for physician partnerships/affiliation and implement the functional and organizational relationships between the health system and its affiliated physician organizations.
Analyzes existing and contemplated cooperative ventures from both a business and strategic perspectives.
Facilitates strategic tactics that align with hospital CEO s, PPR, and Service Line Leaders.
MBA, MHA or related Master s Degree is required.
Requires a minimum of ten (10) years of progressive healthcare facility leadership experience.
Experience with coordinating and integrating strategic planning and business development.
Leadership experience in physician relations/physician development required.
Proven success in Physician Retention and Loyalty rates.
Membership and active participation in appropriate healthcare professional associations and community organizations preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range or constituents in a diverse community.
Demonstrated ability to form trusted relationships with physicians that result in tighter alignment with the healthcare system.
