**Duties and Responsibilities:**
The Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for gathering and reviewing mortgage documents to assure submitted file documentation meets agency, aggregator and bank guidelines. The incumbent will:
-Evaluate title commitments, sales contracts, credit reports, calculate income including self employed borrowers, asset verifications, collateral reviews and all other information pertinent to meet the necessary guidelines to conform to secondary market guidelines.
-Ensure data integrity to confirm accuracy of automated underwriting findings to the file.
-Apply all agency guidelines, aggregator requirements and federal regulations to ensure loan quality.
-Communicate with the appropriate parties regarding additional conditions of the loan.
-Prepare the file for closing to assure the necessary documentation has been gathered and reviewed to expedite the loan closing date.
-Satisfy all suspense items timely relating to processing errors.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
**Minimum Knowledge and Skills:**
-Demonstrates effective business communication skills (both verbal and written)
-Demonstrates excellent time management and organizational skills
-Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
-Demonstrates strong math and analytical skills
-Demonstrates ability to work effectively with all levels of professionals including borrowers, attorneys, title companies, appraisers, etc.
-Demonstrates computer proficiency; experience using all Microsoft Office Applications
-Demonstrates thorough understanding of FNMA, FHLMC, VA, FHA & USDA guidelines
-Demonstrates knowledge of RESPA guidelines and consumer lending regulations
